DL Question: Max Elliot?
Looking at the DL roster, I see that Max Elliot transferred here last season from Air Force Academy. He's a Hoover grad, and sat out last season as a RS Fr.
Does he have potential to make a significant contribution on the DL, or is he more likely to be a good practice squad player? He was good enough to be recruited by serveral Div-1 schools, including AFA. I found an article that says he hails from Russia originally and came late to the game of football, so he may still be developing.
Anyone have insight on this guy? Is he expected to contribute next year? It would be great to have another legit defensive end, for the 3-4.
