Cuse @ Pitt
This could be a trap of sorts for Cuse. It's not the traditional trap where the Orange have a big game next and overlook the Panthers. I mean it's a trap in the fact that the Oakland Zoo is going to be going NUTS for this game. I think the Orange are the better team but Pitt has a real chance to pull the upset.

I say Orange but boy is it gonna be a slobber knocker. Wouls not be shocked if the panthers prevail. They are very good against the zone defense.

What say you posters? The Orange or the Panthers?

RE: Cuse @ Pitt
Syracuse also currently has a depleted roster. We've only got 7 players, and Boeheim has designated a walk-on who will likely get playing time.

Michael Carter-Williams
Brandon Triche
Trevor Cooney
CJ Fair
Jerami Grant
Baye Moussa Keita
Rakeem Christmas

The walk-on is Matt Lyde-Cajuste

And to pick the game... If I were putting money on the game I'd go with Pitt, but I'm not so I'll go with Syracuse. 03-wink

Fun game so far. Refs equally suck for/against both squads...

Remember the UofL fan who said it was over because they lost to them? haha Then Cuse loses two games and Marquette sits alone at the top. Good stuff for the C7.

Dixon knows how to beat the 2-3 zone. Dixon has won 9 of the last 11 against Jimmy B. and is 12-4 all time.

I still believe that SU will win the regular season. Marquette will lose a few and once Southerland and Coleman come back for SU, it will be just in time to finish off the season. I believe SU will end up with about 4 conference losses when all is said and done. That should be good enough to win the regular season.

Late to the convo...was goofing off yday with my wife in Rockport/Fulton, TX on the gulf coast. 75 degrees, sun and calm conditions...yeah it sucked. LOL

Anyways I DVR'd the game...I figured Cuse would lose with only 7 players plus...as others said Dixon is JB's master. Southerland might be back by next weekend which will help. He is practicing daily so his timing should be there. Hope to have Coleman back for the big games the last 7-10 days of the regular season. I see Cuse as a 3 seed when it is all said and done. We will be among the darkhorse contenders for the Championship...but it will be all about matchups. Right now I'm thinking Sweet 16....after that is gravy.
