You forgot clean Jim's, it is covered in MT blue. Don't go to dirty Jim's, it is a scary scene

Is the food so bad it makes you sleepy? 03-lmfao

LOL! It's actually pretty good. Not my favorite, but good and convenient. Outdoor patio for when the weather is good.

I didn't go to Middle for school, so I have never been to either Jim's. I have always assumed those were just college hangouts.

As a fan of both "clean" Jim's and dirty Jim's let me first assure you that they are both dirty. "Clean" Jim's really is more of a college hangout, not entirely mind you, but on most nights if you are 30 you are going to be one of the oldest folks there, Dirty Jim's is a much more eclectic crowd, I'd say still the majority are college students, but sometimes that majority might be like 51%. The majority of the bar fights I witnessed while living in Murfreesboro happened at Dirty Jim's, having said that, I wouldn't say I ever felt like I was in any danger there.

This is a great thread idea. I've lived in the Chicago metro area for the past 14 months or so. I don't imagine there's anywhere that's big on CUSA games here, but I'll ask anyway - does anyone know of one?

Are there any CUSA schools that have an alumni chapter for Chicago with an official place to meet and watch the games? Marshall doesn't have a Chicago chapter, so that's out. I know there are a ton of bars over in Wrigleyville that are (mostly B1G) school-specific but I've never seen a CUSA one. I'd be inclined to show up to a CUSA-school bar in Chicago for a few games each year.

You also forgot Fanatics and what about Bunganut Pig? We're getting to the point that most bars and restaurants in town know where their bread is buttered, we still have a long ways to go, but we've certainly come a long way from 2003 when I first moved there.

Years ago I did contract work in Phoenix and always had to get them to change MMA/Diamondbacks to a televised USM game...their response was always the same, "Hey, isn't that where Favre went to school?"

I am LOLing at the Clean vs. Dirty Jims restaurants for MTSU. Is one like a strip bar or something?

I would NOT eat at either 04-cheers

Back in the day, there was a 3rd Jim's not too far away from Dirty Jim's. We called it Little Jim's. U could walk from one to the other.

The End Zone has always been my favorite, hail it was opened when I moved here in '78.

Hearing good things about Shuckers. Haven't been to it since the new ownership took over but I know the new guy is a big time Southern Miss supporter. If he is not allowing SEC games in there, then a visit is a must.

What ever happened to the Gold Pub???

Yep....almost every UCF Fan I know that makes the trek up to Huntington for games generally stops by there at least once on their visit.

Great place.

Do you realize ECU was never in the Metro Conference? Orlando... Houston... Dallas... Greenville? It's not like Hattiesburg really fits into that list, either, except that we actually were in the Metro.
