Yep. Two home games during the first nine weeks of the season.

Southern Miss got it almost as bad as us. Their third home game is on Oct 26. Ours is the next week on Nov 2.

No not at all. I don't even watch that other game but I am worried about only having 5000 showing up for Senior Day.

We could beat Vanderbilt. We could beat Troy. LSU is the only game that will take a perfect effort. That said we could be 3 - 1 going into conference play.

Someone said UTSA may get their first CUSA win against us as worst case scenario. UTSA had a decent football team this year...

We didn't have too many show up for the last couple senior days. All the Alabama-Auburn game will do us offer us an excuse.

I'm looking to 2/6/13 before even beginning to guess about next fall. Too many variables as to who we will have ready in the fall and who the opponents will have ready to play us. Some of all these may transfer in May, drop out of school, quit football, or break something important off campus - like their coach's team rules or a limb. I hope none of these will be ours, but it has happened before. It is a looooong string of months to August 31st, 2013

How many late signees (2/6 to 8/31) might UAB have room for adding to the number we sign 2/6?

The first thing we need to do with our schedule is ensure a minimum of six home games. Seven road games are bad, any way you look at it.

Just for fun, I looked over the C-USA schedule week by week to see how many game s are against the "Big 6" conferences. Since I'm not sure of which conferences teams like Houston and ECU should be counted, I may be a little off. I also missed on some MWC and WAC teams.

Holy crap, only one game conflicts with UTC. I should be at 5, 4 at the minimum. UTC also will be playing away the weekend we play at Vandy so I'll try to make that.
