Because the conference released them today..

It's amazing - the year we're leaving, we finally have a decently-structured schedule. 2 bye weeks (first time), only 1 3- game road trip.

That's a well-structured schedule. 1 2 game home stand but everything else is home/away/home/away. Byes are a little tight, but still really good overall. Better than ours, and I'm pleased with ours.

Looking at that link, USM got "jobbed" by the conference.

With all due respect to all of the new members, I can't imagine a worse home conference schedule for a long time member.

It worked out good that we have byes after our 2 long trips (UTEP and FIU). Couldn't ask for a better schedule.

Heck we've had schedules with 4 home games in a row (for 4 consecutive years), bye week in the 2nd week, and then 11 straight games, etc. Not surprising that USM got jobbed...C-USA has always seemed somewhat oblivious to things like schedule.

I also think that there is a chance that, as the new schools are now in the majority and not looking around (yet), Banowsky will cater to the newbies.

I am not so sure...Seems like ECU's conference schedule is set up much better this year than in most years.
