Jordan Swing got a bloody nose at one point in the game. He got hit in the face and checked for blood, then motioned to the bench that he needed to come out. He only sat out for what seemed like a couple of minutes after that.

UTEP is 10-3 in their last 13 games. Those 3 losses were by a grand total of 10 points. They have a solid team, this season. UTEPs remaining 4 losses were early in the season, a loss at Arizona and 3 losses to Oklahoma, Clemson, and Vanderbilt in Orlando on a neutral court in a tournament of sorts.

I don't expect UAB to go into overtime, or win, tonight. UTEP is big and strong, nine or ten deep, and have several talented upperclassmen, as well as very talented underclassmen.

I just think the Blazers are going to be outmanned and out experienced, so to speak.

I suspect UAB will lose by....7 or more points.

It's a good thing the coaches and players still decided to show up for the game. As I've said before, this team has been starting to gel a little more on the offensive end recently. I've seen a lot of good passes and shots, we just hadn't been finishing. The defense is still a work in progress, but if the offense can get things together, this team can win some games. 15 turnovers the entire game is a good sign, especially considering how many we had in the first quarter of the game.
