Exclamation Randy Moss: I'm the best WR ever
So...Randy Moss believes he is the best WR ever in the NFL. http://espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs/2012/sto...-ever-play Take a look at the stats and decide for yourself.

Randy Moss could have had much better stats had he really applied himself early in his career. Randy Moss' biggest problem has always been himself...

No, he wouldn't. Have you seen Moss play this year (or in 2010)? Rice was still an effective receiver at Moss' age, and well afterward. Hell, he had a 1,200 yard season at age 40. Moss is nothing more than a deep threat decoy at age 35.

Pro-football-reference.com has a weighted career approximate value system that helps compare players who had different career lengths. It ranks Rice as the #2 overall player since 1950, while Moss came in at #34.

This.

Randy Moss had the potential to be the best WR ever; he was damn good, but not the best ever.

I remember Moss roaming around Malden, Rand, and Campbell's Creek when he was a kid. There were a few times he would have ended up in jail, had he been older. He hasn't really changed since then...

In case you're wondering how I know this. The folks that lived next door to my parents had an apartment complex down in Rand, and his family lived in one of the apartments for a couple of years before moving to Campbell's Creek. I did maintenance for them on occasion. That was before I met the wife and moved to Tennessee...
