RE: ECU vs UTEP: Bowden Incident
In all fairness, I think C-USA suspended Bowden for 1 Division I game, or 2 Division III games, whichever was next on ECU's schedule. 03-nerner

Ah, last I checked we are in C-USA for another entire season. We will be in the BE for all sports, just waiting on the C-7 to leave.

So, STFUWTS!

Just curious, why do you feel the uncontrolable need to defend ECU here? Who cares? It's a messageboard. Nobody here personally threw a punch. Nobody here was physically hit. At least half the post in this thread are beyond retarded. Bottom line..... Shamarr really showed his ass against UTEP and probably deserves worse than what he got. It's a ******* embarassment.

And, no offense but you've got to be the easiest guy to troll on csnbbs.

Ding Ding Ding

Simply don't provide us the chains to yank. It's been easier than messing with Memphis fans.

Just wait till next year when you have 30 different fan bases to deal with.

Well... as we all talk about Shamarr being a thug one of our guys gets suspended indefinitely. Oh kharma, why must you strike so swiftly?

Sorry to hear that, but it kinda proves why no fan of any team should really bother ripping into the character of anyone else's players. No one has a team full of choir boys, and most have several players that you could easily classify as "thugs" if you really wanted to. Bowden was an idiot, and his actions potentially cost ECU 2 games (although Sampson's injury was much more costly tonight than the suspension).

RE: ECU vs UTEP: Bowden Incident
1st time I've seen this thread and I don't condone Bowdens actions but it's a joke UTEP fans say a word much less demand we suspend him longer.

I forget the players name because it's been about 8 years ago when Stephan Jackson(?) whatever his name was a freshman. The SR best player that year on your team that year punched him and broke his jaw in a practice scuffle and you guys suspended him for 1 total game because he was your team star and you knew the season was over otherwise. The Stephan Jackson kid or what ever his name was had to have surgery and missed the rest of the year I believe. I wouldn't throw stones. At least this kid wasn't hurt.

As far as UNCC, maybe the next NBA player will build a meth lab instead of an underground pot manufaturing plant. Gezz. Glass houses. Bowden overacted and punched someone in the heat of the moment. Sure no one on here's ever been in a fight before.

Yeah! And the only reason UTEP gets 40K+ in football is because we exchange tickets for canned food!
