Dukes win 56-46 for the season sweep and the last game between the two programs in the foreseeable future. This is the first sweep since the 1999-2000 season and only the second time it has happened in program history. That is unless one occurred prior to the 79-80 season. I'm having trouble finding a record of the results prior to the 80s.

ODU has a tough defense. That three by Cooke with 2 seconds left on the clock and Moore's layup right after had to be a huge dagger. Can we say suck it ODU?.....

Congrats, guys. I was surprised by the attendance! It was pretty packed compared to other games I've been to in the Convo.

much to the delight of our fan base, bourne was quoted in the dnr as saying he "doesn't want to schedule odu and vcu in the same season", or something like that.
