RE: USM @ Tulsa
Congrats USM, good win today. You guys have a tough team. I rarely can say I enjoyed a game when Tulsa lost, but I enjoyed this one today. Both of these teams contested every pass & shot all 94 feet.

Tulsa has a lot of true freshmen playing & we will win or lose with them. Hope we get our 2 injured big men back before CUSA tourney & see how we compete then.

I think USM will be a 1 or 2 seed in the CUSA tourney. You guys have a lot of good players. Your new coach seems to have you all playing a style that fits your team even better than Eustacy's style. Keep winning & hopefully you'll get ranked soon.

RE: USM @ Tulsa
Heartbreaker.

I love our team. So excited to see most of them three more years.

We've clawed back up to 5000+ in the stands with Coach Manning, too. Maybe we will see a sellout sometime this season...

Anytime you can get a win at Tulsa is a good day.
As far as Danny Manning goes, they don't come any classier than he.
One of my all-time favorite players.
Tulsa's in good hands.

It was a big win against a tough opponent on their home court. Tulsa gave us a battle all the way. Hats off to Tulsa for a great game.

Didn't get to watch the game today, only listened on the radio and I haven't seen Tulsa play, but thats what I love about DT and this USM team. They are all in on every second of every play of every game. Win or lose thats all you can ask for.

Like others, feel lucky to come away with the win.

Maybe I can fill you in. USM is very tough on the perimeter defense and gave our guards a lot of trouble out there. USM really hit their open threes quite well, but we tried to contest them as best we could. Our contested threes kept us in the game. Those offensive rebounds were probably the difference in the game. I think you had 9 O rebounds the first half. The thing that helped us was making our FTs the first half, but we missed a few down the dtretch. USM has a nice team and should challenge Memphis. We will struggle for now because we are having to play guards at FW and small FWs at post. We are a team of youth and injury right now

I bet you like your new coach. They are a well drilled team that knows what they want to get done. Good luck.

Tulsa played very good defense yesterday. So you can see it, USM shot 63% for the game against marshall and 75% in the 2nd half vs rice. SMU we were down 12 early in the 2nd hit about 8 or 9 3's shooting 73.9 for the 2nd half. I think we were around 40 yesteryday.
