Marshall is as talented as a team as I've seen. When focused, they are pretty dang good. Keeping up with Memphis on the road is tough to do when trying to match their athleticism.

Might have started with last year's game @ Marshall with that scuffle where Frank got involved and the technical against Marshall.

Our team is very thuggish. Not every player is, but I guarantee one of them will end up end jail for a night before the semester is over. Herrion has no control. Do I want them to win? Yes! But they are hard to watch because of their attitudes and body language.

I too want to win, but win with class and real student athletes. I haven't noticed the thuggish demeanor that you mention.

Marshall is playing hard and well. Memphis is playing well, but don't look like they are playing hard.....perhaps the Herd's effort has something to do with that.

Quite a good ballgame, Memphis up by 4, 7 mins. and change left. WTF were these guys in Hattiesburg?

In most games we would have had a couple of quick 6, 8, or 10 point outbursts in a 60 second period. Marshall's kept us from doing that and it's a close game.
