Excuses are like aholes, everyone has one... and the gov't can make excuses for stripping any right they so desire.
One little nit to pick. The founders didn't "give" us any rights. They articulated that our rights come from God and are not granted by any government and therefore can not be taken away by any government.
You need to be careful not to fall into the language and thinking patterns of the left.
It is good to know Jesus gave me the right to own a gun.
It's almost like you are a parody of every stupid left winger anyone has ever encountered.
You take the most ridiculous argument or statement that it is possible to make on any given subject, parrot it again and again without any critical thought or analysis and then expect anyone on this entire board to take you seriously.
If I didn't know better, id just assume you were a right winger trolling other left wingers by embarrassing them with your stupid statements.
It is literally impossible to argue that the founders did not state that some rights were indeed "inalienable rights from the creator", even if you completely disagree with what they said, but sure enough, here you are acting like a fool yet again and embarrassing the two or three intelligent (if misguided) left wing posters on this board.
You've got a DiMaggio/Ripken like streak of idiocy in thread after thread going on. The next intelligent post you make will be the first, and sadly break the streak.
Thankfully though, I don't think there is much chance of that happening though. Keep up the good work!
