RE: RPI question
It will help our RPI, but say there are 4 teams playing tonight that we have already played and they go 1-3 and TN was the only winner, well that means our RPI actually took a hit. You have to factor in all the teams playing tonight that we have played. If they have a winning record on the night, then our RPI gets better, if they have a losing record on the night than it hurts our RPI. If they go .500 our RPI will not change much.

Wow. So much for a UT win. Horrible game management by Kwanzo.

A loss won't hurt us at all because UTK won't drop in the RPI due to a road loss to a top 50 RPI team.

The wins-losses arent multiplied by the 1.4 when calculating the opponents and opponents opponents aggragates. Only when calculating a teams win-loss record.

We'll take a slight hit because TN dropped a game, but we will pick up a little because they played Ole Miss, who has a really good win-loss record. All in all, it will probably mean it wont affect our RPI position at all.

I agree. It won't have any affect.

Quality win. RPI should get a bounce after today's effort.

Teams are gonna lose on the road occasionally. Richmond is top 75 in the RPI. Not exactly a horrid loss.
