That's where you're wrong. Janice has taken way too much crap here on this board and she is just fighting back. There are many many reasons she posts like that sometimes. If you knew Janice, she is a very loving and caring person with a heart the size of Texas . And she makes a hell of a friend.

So Tanya, would you say this isnt a somewhat insulting thread? If this guy was here bragging about your daughter or MissJ's daughter?

Do you think if this is the guy's reaction, to run straight to MT.ORG and begin bragging about this "conquest" that he is in the right?

My heavens, the kid had been wanting to go out with a girl and she finally noticed him and agreed to go out. What the heck is so sinister about that ? Back in the day, "scored" meant you actually had sex with someone....but obviously he was very clear that she had agreed to go out with him so he obviously didn't mean it that way. And for the record, there have been several guys here that bragged on my beautiful daughter, and I had no problem with that. They were perfect gentlemen around her too.

Of course I would. Somewhere along the way the point of this whole thread got lost. I was just making a point that you can't judge a persons character based on one post (missJ's). A lot of the problems with posting is that it's too easy to read "tone" into a post when it really is not there. Here I go rambling and losing my train of thought....again.

No I do not. In his defence he does sound young and not very experienced in how to treat a women. But I think all J was trying to do was encourage him to ignore all the snide remarks about motel rooms, being in the band and so on.
