I was expecting worse. Really surprised that they didn't get LaTeck on our schedule, though.

Yeah, thats a really favorable schedule for ECU. 6-2 likely, perhaps better, in conference if the defense shows any improvement and the offense maintains. Tulsa, USM, and MTSU are the main conference threats.

On a way, way, way too early prediction I'll say ECU ends up 8-4 to 10-2

If our defense shows a pulse, we can win this league. How senior heavy was Tulsa last year?

And this is what the UTSA schedule looks like

08/31 - @ New Mexico
09/07 - Oklahoma State
09/14 - @ Arizona
09/28 - Houston

HOME – Louisiana Tech, Rice, Tulane, UAB
AWAY – at Marshall, at North Texas, at Tulsa, at UTEP

Not bad.

My guess for Tulsa in 2013 is an improved offense and a worse defense, hopefully it tilts in Tulsa's favor when the horn sounds. But Rice has almost all that team back, I was impressed with them at Tulsa, they had that game all but sealed before a 75 yard run at the end.

Pretty heavy I hope, but at least ECU has them at home.

UAB, RICE, TULANE all at home for UTSA. I think your school President advocated for that schedule, not your AD 03-razz

In addition to hosting ECU, we also host WCU and travel to UNC.

We'll tie you at 3 this year (ECU, UNCC & UNC). Plus they've been talking to Wake Forest but I'm not sure if that will happen.

ODU:

Aug. 31, at East Carolina

Sept. 7, at Maryland

Sept. 14, Howard

Sept. 21, The Citadel

Sept. 28, open date

Oct. 5, Liberty

Oct. 12, at North Carolina

Oct. 19, open date

Oct. 26, at Norfolk State

Nov. 2, Rhode Island

Nov, 9, at Idaho

Nov. 16, UNC Charlotte

the only change that I would make would be to either bring ECU here to SA or change our road trip to Mashall for ECU, I have some ties to East Carolina and I wouldnt mind visiting some old friends

04-rock

I wish they would have split it though. That way we would be going to FL every year. Would have been better that way.

That means Marshall's schedule looks like this:

Home:
Miami OH
Gardner-Webb
USM
ECU
UAB
UTSA

Away:
Ohio
VA Tech
Tulsa
FIU
FAU
MTSU

If Chuck Heater can give us even an avg D- I think we can possibly win 9-10 games.

Maybe Marshall fans will outnumber FIU again (jesting, but still...) MT has WCU, Memphis, East Carolina, FIU, Marshall, and UTEP at home... along with UNC, BYU, FAU, UNT, USM, and UAB away. I like that schedule. It's got to be one of the best we've had in a while. I'm liking it.

Also - a good start for Charlotte with 6 home games. Hoping you all sell out all of them!

I hope not. Move MTSU west and keep USM east. Hell move Charlotte or ODU West for all I care.

Agreed. .. total flippin' screw job by the conference this time around. Oh well, time to re-establish ourselves as ROAD WARRIORS!

I was so looking forward to skull dragging tulane all the way out i10 to slidel one last time.

UTSA and USM look to have the least desirable home schedules. ECU and LA Tech seem to have the most favorable road schedules, Marshall isn't bad except for the trip to Tulsa.

USM getting 4 former SBC schools seems a lil raw.

I mean we are unknown names to the fan base I would imagine, so there wont be a lot of buzz.

Dont know how that happened.

How does ECU not play La Tech considering the story lines for that game? That would be a TV exec's wet dream. If not a CUSA Marketing Exec's wet dream.

Shouldn't be a problem unless they are planning adding additional seating.

Stadium Capacity - 15,300

FSL Owners - 5,000
Students - 7,500
Visitors and Family - 2,800

The AD employees were saying during one of our scrimmages that they could sell another 7K-8K in season tickets if we had the room and if the tickets weren't tied to a $100 donation like the FSLs.

Best you can hope for would be future additions being west of USM. We certainly have no interest in moving west.
