This team is maturing and truly becoming a team. Early in the season when teams went off like Tulane did last night we became frustrated, tense and our body language was horrible. We wilted and came unraveled. Last night we never lost our focus or composure and systematically came back and deliberately took it to Tulane.

Also very proud of Coach Pastner for his instilling discipline with these young men, which is EXACTLY what they need.

9 in a row. All this could and should bode very well for this group come March.

Joe Jackson is becoming the PG we all expected him to be
Crawford is turning the corner and is our zone buster
Adonis is like dynamite ready to explode at any time
Geron is glue and a stud
DJ is a intimidating force and a energizer
AB can do so many things and is a silent assassin
Shaq is a force, high motor, and rim rattler
Black is a beast and a force inside

Proud of these guys and the rest of the team as well and just wanted to make a thread documenting the fact that this teams growth and maturity is visible to some of us.

I'll second that. Awful 1st half/looked good 2nd half. Very poised. No sniping at one another.

good thread - this game would have been a loss last year. This is a versatile team once everyone plays their role. The best teams seem to have "one of everything" - whatever you need, whoever you have to guard, we got one of those...

Yeah I agree, that first half we just didn't seem to get it until the last 7 minutes. We played great from that point on. Tulane has lost some head scratchers but they are a good team. Hell Tarrant could play for anyone and so could Davis. Coming back in the 2nd half and then beating them by 17 in that half shows me what this team is capable of. I have knocked them myself here lately due to frustration mostly due to lack of effort. I want them to always keep their foot on the gas and dominate teams. 15-3 is a great place to be sitting right now. Proud of the come back and poise the team showed.

I'm not gonna lie though, when it was 32-17 I wanted to punch someone lol.

Same here. BF got punched after about 20th time he tried to tell me that we're gonna be fine, it's gonna be alright. 05-mafia
