At shoot around just before the National Anthem and just before the introductions Shaq makes sure he takes the last shot. He will wait until everyone has lined up for the anthem and then do a last shot. Same when they come out just before the start of the game. He holds a ball until all the balls are going back to the ball rack and then take his last shot. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed his ritual?

I've not noticed his last shot ritual, but I have noticed he is rock solid at attention for the Anthem.

I like Shaq-a lot of hustle, good passer and he is having a lot of fun out there like a college kid should

I noticed Sean Banks did the same thing in his second year here. He would wait and take another shot or two and then slowly make his way to the huddle. The difference is that Shaq actually looks like he cares. He is upbeat. Banks was walking around with a certain....don't know what word I am looking for....about him.

This isn't really new. Witherspoon would do this the past two years. They rebound the last couple shots and give them to the ball boys. They always make sure the last ball goes through the hoop though, so if the last shot is missed, they put it in themselves. Kind of a good luck / superstition thing I guess.
