Is it possible our coaching staff will now get some credit for making halftime adjustments?

no

First 12 minutes was about as poor as MEMPHIS could play. Silly errors, lack of focus, and Tulane very hot coming out of the gate. I told my buddy at about the 8 minute mark of the 1st half that if Tulane shot 67% for the whole game, MEMPHIS would lose.

Macgar32 is spot on about MEMPHIS starting to play better and cut into that lead with about 7-8 minutes left.

Much better intensity and effort in the 2nd half. Nice to have Black establish himself inside; 10 points in the 2nd half after his consequential 1st half benching. Crawford found his stroke as well. Johnson had a nice game despite some unforced TO's.

Pastner was right post game pointing out that MEMPHIS is every conference opponents' "Super Bowl". Tulane came to play HARD and at the FEF. The TIGERS need to bring it each game. The road games will be ferocious because the C-USA leftovers will target MEMPHIS as a trophy win. None of them will back down.
