RE: The official 2.0 Skin debug thread
While within a thread, the forum indicator (downward pointing blueish triangle) is nice, however the behavior is different from the one at the top vs. the one at the bottom. The top one, if clicked, opens an unpopulated drop-down of some sort, while the bottom one does nothing.
What is the proper behavior?

I'd personally prefer lighter colored table cells.
The red admin names against the background of the dark gray table cells have an odd glow that is uncomfortable on the eyes. (See Derby's post right above mine)

The buttons (like new reply, all the links to email/pm/www/etc) don't match. Even if you don't care that they don't match, the corners on the "New Reply" button outside of the post (the big one in the black area at the bottom of a thread) has a white background where the rounded edges are instead of black.

I don't think "colors" are the issue. Each skin used for each school would be configurable, as I understand. Don't focus so much on the cosmetics, look at the overall structure and layout.

Correct. I can't fix this until the skin has been deployed globally. It's still function, it just looks awful but only if you're an admin/mod.

They look identical to me. What browser are you using?

I've literally never used that before. I suppose the top is correct, but I think I'll just eliminate it entirely.

Those can be changed on a per-forum basis, but I *suck* at graphics so I prefer to avoid changing those as long as humanly possible. Also, it can be kludgy to change them. Looks like they type into the language system and weren't intended to have readily changeable url's based on a skin. But it can be done. But it is VERY low priority since it aint that bad.

Aha -- they're different in Chrome. I'll shrink it down some.

The font in the NavBar for the current Memphis skin is "11px verdana"
