RE: 2013 commitments
A couple comments:

*Dontonio Wingfield is the only recruit that rivals ranks as a 3 star. Seems like Ohio got a good one...although rankings at this level mean nothing.

*JC already has a CC commit for Ohio. Mimicking what he did at Kent? I'm not sure the Ohio faithful will love that strategy...but winning cures all.

*NIU only has the one open scholarship next year. In short, Monty better hope his current group grows and gets better with the addition of Highsmith.

*Akron is reloading with 3 true frosh and a CC guy. They show zero signs of letting up. Dambrot is relentless.

*Toledo's class is good. Both commits held offers from us.

*I count 7 guys that signed with other MAC schools that once held offers from WMU. Kozinski, Highsmith, Lauf, Garber, Turner, House and Tisdale.

Can't find anything on him. Any idea where he went to high school?

Got it. Thanks.

Something is weird with Akron's list.

They lose only Gilliam and Marshall after this year...yet they have 5 commitments.

The Zips lose Senior Brian Walsh and Josh Egner left the program after the first semester. That gives them 4 openings. The problem is that they have 5 guys committed for next year. That means one of the existing scholarship players is probably going to be asked to leave. There is also a possibility that Quincy Diggs could return next year for his Senior season. Not quite sure how that would work either.

RE: 2013 commitments
Ok, this is a 2014 commitment for CMU...but I feel compelled to make a comment

http://www.ncsasports.org/mens-basketbal...uke-meyer2

1. There is no way this guy is 6'10". If he is, then everyone on the floor is between 6'4" and 6'8".

2. Does he remind anyone else of Shayne when he was in high school?

To me he looks to be around 6'8" with some pretty long arms. Other than that all I saw in the highlight film is 10 unathletic white kids playing basketball 03-lmfao03-lmfao

RE: 2013 commitments
I saw Luke Meyer in person on his visit to WMU in the fall and I can verify that there is NO way he is 6'10"

I think 6'7" or 6'8" is probably closer to accurate.
