Yep, outscored them by 26 after we fell down by 15. Really tight win.

It was a 2 possesion game with less than 2 minutes left after they converted that 4 point play. We scored some garbage buckets after they got gassed and couldnt finish.

Yep game was in doubt.

If I remember correctly, we failed to score on the following posesion and they came down and missed a three, thats when their will was broken and we pulled away. If they hit that shot its a two point game and they have all the momentum. You bet your rear-end the game was in doubt.

OK we were up 9 with 1:06 left when he hit the 4 point play making it a 5 point game they immediately fouled JJ who promptly hit 2 FTs at 1:01 to make it a 7 point game...It wasn't really in doubt.

You guys see the same thing happen over and over again but you still expect different results, and I'm the idiot.

If this team makes it past the first round of the NCAA tourney I'll eat my left shoe.

Technically they will make it past the first round because the first game they played is named the second round. Just Saying

RE: Howmany offensive boards do we have to give up...
The last 2 seasons this team has failed to beat anyone of note out of conference, underperformed in conference, and found itself in a position where it had to win the conference tournament to make the dance. Then failed to win a game in the tournament (guess I cant say we went out in the first round).

So far this season we have failed to beat anyone of note out of conference, underperformed in conference (I know we are undefeated but if you have watched the games and can say you dont think we have underperformed you are not being very honest with yourself), and are looking like we are going to have to win the conference tournament to make the dane.

To expect anything other than a loss in our first game of the tourney is foolish based on the body of work so far.

I disagree. Last year they didn't have to win the Conference Tournament to get in. They would have gotten in if they lost to Marshall or UCF in the tournament.

Now the year before yes definitely had to win.

No I do not think we have under performed in the conference play other than the first half tonight. We have been up big on every conference foe except tonight. The only problem is when we get up big we tend to get bored and lose focus.

Tonight to me was a good sign not a bad sign. Look at Louisville tonight didn't come ready to play and lost to a mediocre to bad Villanova team. Now in no way do I think Tulane could beat Nova, but what I'm getting at is that in conference play your going to have games where you don't come out ready to play. Tonight we didn't, but we showed mental toughness and kept fighting to go from down 15 to winning by 11.

Im losing more and more faith in our coach with every game.

We are going to lose to Tulane if he doesnt get his head out of his but.

I wanted to believe in him but this crap is insane, he needs to go.

Tulane scored about 8 unanswered points while I was posting this.

All the things I'm missin',
Good vittles, love, and kissin',

Soon we'll be living high and wide.
My heart's calculatin',

Russia was on a roll tonight...too bad for him that the Tigers had the intestinal fortitude to win in an exciting come-from-behind victory! :drinky2:

I won't hold him to the technicality.

But I do want to see him eat his shoe after we win our first game of this year's NCAA tournament

This. I love how he said our late buckets were "garbage buckets." That Tarrant 4 point play, though very impressive, was a garbage bucket. The game was in hand.

He’s not upset THAT we won, he’s upset at HOW we won.

I wondered when you would finally get to your REAL rant.

As squid noted, maybe Marshall will beat MEMPHIS so you can really unload. Or ECU...or So Miss...or UCF...or UTEP.

"Fans" such as you, Russia, are typical bashers that only see the down side of things. You dislike Pastner so much you can't appreciate a win. Black was held out for the 1st half; most fans figured that out. You saw the difference when he played in the 2nd half. You were exposed as a basher by Macgar32 about the "impact" of the 4 point play late in the game. "Game in doubt", my aching @ss. Good try, though.

Tulane beat Alabama...who beat Kentucky, where your savior is employed.

15-3. I know that burns you, Russia. The TIGERS won. Deal with it.
