Not that they are an NCAA team (because I don't see it) but they are way better than they have been the last sevral years.
Tough team that can rebound and has a great player in the post. I expect them to finish in the top 5 of the conference. Even though they are 1-3 currently.
Not having any depth is going to kill them. They do get to play Rice twice though.
yup
They are just a few guys short of being a bubble team.

Could see them again in the CUSA tourney.

Maybe you'll get lucky and they will drop one to Marshall
Everybody is a comedian, until we run up against another St Louis in the first round of the tourney and come home early.
Or we lay an egg like this against So Miss in the conference tourney and dont even make the NCAA.
hey you're exactly right
it's pastner's fault that our guys aren't getting in position, getting boxed out, and getting out-hustled.
seriously dude?
That's plain dumb.
Is it fair to ask, who's fault is it?
whose.
questions containing grammar violations require no response from me.
But I like you, so here goes: It is a player's responsibility to box out opposing players. The coach can not do that for them.
Would you like pastner on the court boxing out so that shaq (6-9) can get a rebound over the opposing point guard? If so you should note that this is not allowed.
I ask the question merely to get people to think. that's all. It's fun to watch or should I say read.

That sentence might apply to Kentucky this year as well.

At the time I started the thread we probably only had one guy on the floor that weighs more than 200 pounds, we had no chance at keeping them off the offensive glass.
Guys that weigh over 200 lbs:
Adonis 1 rebound in 15 minutes
Shaq 3 rebounds in 18 minutes
Black 3 rebounds in 16 minutes
Crawford 3 rebounds in 28 minutes
Hall 0 rebounds in 5 minutes
Total - 10 rebounds in 82 minutes
Guys under 200 lbs:
DJ - 10 rebounds in 36 minutes
Geron - 4 rebounds in 37 minutes
Total - 14 rebounds in 72 minutes
So one guy under 200 lbs. had as many rebounds as 5 big guys over 200 lbs. in less than half the minutes.
That being said I do think we are a better rebounding team with Tarik on the floor despite the fact that he doesn't get that many rebounds himself. He helps clear the area out for other guys.
Thanks for making my point for me. I wasnt talking about a lack of rebounds on our part, I was talking about keeping their guys off the glass. Its in the freakin title of the thread.
