I predict a very hard-fought, back-and-forth game with plenty of lead changes before the Tigers pull away late for an 8-point victory.

There, since the opposite of what I predict usually happens, hopefully the Tigers will take the Green Wave to the woodshed for a South Memphis street beatdown from start to finish.

The key is to get Josh Davis in foul trouble before he gets our guys in foul trouble. They only have 2 reserves that average double-digit minutes, Cherry a 3-pt specialist at about 13mpg and Bruha, a 7ft stiff averaging 10mpg. Tulane is 3rd in the country in percentage of points scored off of FT's. Davis is 16th in the country in rebounding.

Sorry I missed that one. That means that they will have to bring in a player averaging less than 5 mpg if Davis is out or go with 4 guards.

Tulane has a low turnover rate. We may have to produce points mainly from a half court set. I will be surprised if they regularly employ a man to man defense

This game comes down to the same question as most of the others; can we keep defensive intensity and focus for more than 20-25 minutes? If we can than it is a blow out. If we cannot then it will probably be similar to many others where we let them hang around and then pull out a 10-12 point win in the last 2 or 3 minutes.
