This Will Make You Mad
I dont know who all was at the Belmont Lipscomb last year @ the Curb when we threw away a huge lead. Well I went back and looked at it after watching the Syracuse game today (and hearing that they had the longest home wining streak in the nation---now 35). If we had held that lead and if everything else remained the same...the Bruins would have that streak with 38 wins in a row. Point and fact - the Curb is a tough place to play.

RE: This Will Make You Mad
You're right, it does make me mad. That game STILL makes me mad. Lipscomb got us in that game. As I remember, we actually beat ourselves in that game. We got them back at their place, won the A-Sun, and shuffled off to the NCAA's. Lipscomb just shuffled off. I think that game served as a "wake up call" for our boys. I'm sure it provided many teachable moments for Coach Byrd in the practices thereafter. I'm glad we took care of purple business this year.
I haven't checked attendance numbers, but do you think our TSU game drew more than the Lipscomb game did? It seemed pretty close to me. EKU was a pretty good draw too. I bet the TN Tech game (homecoming) will also be a near sell out. Really, as long as the guys keep winning, I'm sure a lot of Nashvillians will be jumping on the Belmont band wagon. Worst part about it is our season ticket prices will go up as BU sells out more games.
