Thanks, Tex. Nice to see the MWC get some kudos from ESPN. Its a good article told from a SDSU point of view on where the conference stands today.

I read on the realignment board that our title game is worth 1.5 million. CUSAs is 1 Million. It's a net gain especially for the 2 teams that will receive the 500K bonus as long as it's going to be Sat.& on ESPN or CBS like they want.

The guys on BC were saying Wolken is a notorious blow hard.

That's the rumor floating around but everyone seems to say that when a "reporter" tweets something they don't like. USU supposedly did their own study on a CCG and their media consultants said it was worth 5 million. Realistically it's probably worth 2 for TV and probably around another million for naming rights. Maybe more if it's always ranked teams playing in it.

After watching UNLV beat the Aztecs the other night I can safely say that this league is going to be VERY tough this year.

I also saw Colorado State the other night. Super tough.

No doubt the MWC will be the best of the rest in the future. Heck, they'll be better than some of the Big 5 conferences in some sports. Their basketball's already better than the PAC12, $EC, and arguably the ACC. I'm sure there will be a couple years where they'll be better than some of the conferences in football too.
