Nice pickup. 6-1 215lbs. Strong arm. Looks like he has some throwing mechanics to work on, but a ton of potential there.

On a side note, he looks to have had the worst WRs ever in high school. I have never seen so many drops in a highlight video.

Monken has the track record to bring out the best in him. I am sure he will be handled better than AA was.

throws off back foot and stance is too narrow...can be fixed

decision making looked pretty solid...to me that matters more

let's see what friar tuck can do with him...potential is definitely there

RE: Golden Eagles with big commitment
Not only did new Southern Mississippi Coach Todd Monken land a quarterback Wednesday night, he also got himself a steal in securing a verbal commitment from Rummel senior Damian Williams.

Such is the opinion of Rummel Coach Jay Roth.

Williams delivered his pledge to Monken during an official visit to Williams' River Ridge home by the Golden Eagles coach, Roth said.

Williams, 6-foot-1, 225 pounds, with 4.7 speed in the 40, is scheduled to make an official to USM's Hattiesburg campus this weekend.

We must have promised this guy something, because there is no way that he would have picked us over Tulane. I mean come on, they are headed to the Big East.

Apparently Nebraska pulled its offer after getting a verbal from another QB.

K-State is validation before NEB...Snyder knows his shite...just my two cents...kid has an arm and makes quick decisions (based on the video provided)...I like that the most....everything else can be re-engineered.
