Tulsa is positioning itself between the MWC and BE but I doubt that the MWC wants to expand unless it involves BYU.

It does not make financial sense to go past 12 for a GO5 conference as of 2014 unless you can bring in enough TV dollars to offset the loss from one-two more mouths to feed.

I just like to live in the righteous world where teams success leads them to better opportunity. Not one where sh*t teams like Tulane and Tulsa get said opportunities...

You are looking at football. You forget that conferences, esp the BE are going to want well rounded schools. BB, Soccer, Volleyball, Women's BB, wrestling. Plus the facilities and endowment to boot.

Tulsa is not a bad football program.

They have a much larger budget than us.

They have a much larger fan base than us.

Tulane...ya I didn't understand that one. Other than the market. But again if market still matters then why haven't we been in the discussion more?

Skelly Field at H. A. Chapman Stadium is a football stadium located on the campus of the University of Tulsa in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It is primarily the home of the Tulsa Golden Hurricane football team.

The stadium currently seats 30,000. Wikipedia

You may want to recheck that...

Tulsa's record has been great. They were the CUSA champs this year. They had 10+ wins in 2012, 2010, 2008 & 2007 and one losing season since 2005.

Their stadium is 25% larger than ours is.
Their revenue is about 50% larger than ours.

No one knows the seating capacity of Huskie Stadium. It's one of the Great Mysteries of modern civilization.
