Everyone's favorite college RB and NFL special teamer was just on the SCORE discussing the Trestman hiring. For some reason, i had no idea that Wolfe would be so great on the radio. I only caught the last 5 minutes, but was very impressed with his composure. Mulley mentioned afterward that maybe he has a future in Chicago radio. Good stuff. Way to go Garrett.

He also was on ABC Channel 7 last night, sounding and looking just fine. Hope it pays dividends. Anyone who has met Wolfe knows he's a great guy, and I'd love to see him behind a mic somewhere.

Wolfe has always handled the micorphone well. From his interviews during his playing days, both at NIU and with the Bears, I've always thought that he had a natural talent for speaking. He would make a great side line reporter, color commentator, or radio host. Best of luck to him.

Lets get some of our games back on Comcast and have Wolfe do the color commentating.

Wehn I spoke with Coach Novak in the Atlanta airport, he mentioned that GW was considering returning to NIU to pursue his masters. And that he would make a wonderful addition helping out with the team.

We'll see if this happens. We need some help at RB...

We should seriously consider having him do color on whatever game(s) we have on Comcast this year. He has to be better than that other boob.

Can you imagine if we had guys like Wolfe announcing (or sideline reporting for) MAC games, instead of the usual guys from E$PN? That would be a refreshing change.

also caught his remarks on WGN TV last nite...how did his season with Montreal play out?
