Fixed it for ya. Pretty sured he didn't say that regarding this years squad and was referring to next year given everyone (analysts and experts) knew this litter wouldn't be such a formidable force...

I don't see any lottery picks on this year's Kentucky team. That means that Calipari probably gets most of these guys back next year to go with the class he brings in next year.

I've forgotten. What other choice did he have last year?

I'm guessing he could have waited out his HS senior year of eligibility and then signed with the Tigers?

Funny reading Stokes cost himself millions when it seems like Adonis is working on that himself.... from lottery to 2nd round in under 60s.....

He is a great recruiter. Noel will be a top 5 pick, Goodwin top 12 and Poythress a 1st rounder this year if they choose to go. Hell, Cauley Stein is projected as a 1st rounder.

Even though he couldn't have played until the next year, he could've walked on with the Tigers and practice/work out with the team.

NBAdraft.net has three UK players in the top 14. Draft Express has three in the top 8. The team is a mess right now, but Noel, Goodwin, Cauley, and Poythress will all be drafted very early.

with that many projected first rounders, why aren't they even in the top 25??

Individuals projected to the NBA don't always a team make

so, in this case the players are the reason they are not in the top 25 and not the coaching

People say it can't be done, but he'd love to do it and prove them wrong. He used to say that here, too, and you loved it. Every coach and every player should want to win EVERY game. What's wrong with that?

Quite the opposite and even if they are a risk to not go in the lottery, next year's class is going to scare a few away.

Most players don't develop quickly...even for Cal.

Didn't say that.

Cal is gonna get some prima donnas in his one and done sweeps. And some of these are not always in tune with team goals.

And Cal is not always going to convert every single one of them to the team concept.

I've forgotten. What other choice did he have last year?

I'm guessing he could have waited out his HS senior year of eligibility and then signed with the Tigers?

Would have been a better decision.

Yeah, sucks to have an E8, FF and National title in back to back to back seasons.
