Syracuse has the better program. Mitch has yet to develop and will only get a lot better. He ran a wing t and basically handed the ball off until he got a new coach. His team may not have been much but he would have started on almost any team in the state. Good luck this next year.

Tell Mitch, that as he matures in life, he might want to learn the lesson of honoring his word.

He has to think about his life after football and if the academic program for the major in which he is interested in is of a higher caliber at another institution it is hard to blame him for choosing that university when they make him an offer.

If there was a specific engineering program that Cruse offers which NIU did not then I understand, but NIU's engineering program would not leaving him lacking one bit.

Ok. I think we can stop bashing an 18 year old kid on his college decision making. Let it go. Kids change their minds all the time...

I am not bashing an 18 year old kid. I am defending our engineering program.

Lol. yeah as opposed to the guy who recruited him, who is now at NC State, and turned around and tried to recruit him there too after talking up how great NIU was.

Wasn't his word to the coach, his system, and the school? Mitch would be at NIU if the coach was still there.

No. You commit to a school. Good luck to him as a person, but 0-12 is the wish for Syracuse now.

What was he before? The real question is, would ESPN have changed his ranking if he stayed with us? My guess is no.
