His audacity is astounding. He implies that not placing further restrictions on legal gun owners is immoral. Exactly two people are at fault for the Newtown tragedy, the mentally ill shooter, and his stupid mother for keeping her guns accessible to him. The 100 million legal gun owners in the US are not to blame, nor are the weapons they own. Lawmakers shouldn't have to be belittled by the president, or made to feel that their position on the subject is morally flawed.

His entire phony career is built on making others feel needless guilt. Guilt for making a lot of money. Guilt for wrongs of the past, like slavery. Why would he change now?
