Exit Fees
Does anyone have an estimate of what each school will recieve as far as exit fees are concerned?

banowski has changed the rules. Exit fees are free. Entry fees are free. he is going to charge the schools that didn't leave or enter.

he wants to encourage them to improve.

Not as funny as you might think. I wouldn't be surprised to see the idiots in charge 'give em a break'. If they do that this time, we as fans should bring a class action against our own commissioner. We just play too nice.

Believe me, there are no free passes. For USM to leave the immediate cost would be $500,000 to CUSA. Then CUSA would still be owed several million. Then the Big East would be owed several million as an entry fee. I have heard the total cost for USM to go if asked would be in the 8 to 10 million dollar range. This is why it is joke to even consider now that the extra money isn't there anymore.

NO way does that happen... USM, Tulsa, and UAB in particular would raise holy hell with the conference if there were no fees collected, UNLESS there's some team swapping deal in the works with the MWC and some of the "defectees"
