i think, no i know yall missed the point. i think its safe to say that "memtigbb" is a Memphis fan. lets not pretend that most of the people in here arent Tiger fans, that thinking would be Dumb. are there some in here that arent, sure. not a whole lot.

i tried to tell you he was a Tiger fan. but im sure some here can tell him and the readers that he really isnt, he is a "hater", an "alias" a "troll". the same ol 03-puke you spit out here all the time. hey "memtigbb" you need to learn how to be a better tiger fan like fill in the blank.

Sure is easy to "seem" to have it together when you are beating up on your 8 year old brother when you are 17.
Toe up with another 17 year old and get beat the same way then you start seeing the truth about yourself.

At this point Josh has done nothing we havent already seen out of Josh. Lose to any team worth their salt and beat the heck out of scrubs. When that changes, we can start giving Josh the benefit of the doubt. Until then, all we can give him is doubt.

Why cant we ever be the "Minnesota" or the "VCU"? We start ranked and then we get hammered by those who really are good teams.

Josh can win 30000000000 games against CUSA and it doesnt mean anything at all in the grand scope of who is a good team.

Win ONE top 25 game and all of a sudden you have an argument. Until then we are just a mediocre team. Gotta prove we are better against teams who arent scrubs.

Need a tissue, man?

not funny.

Get over it, champ. You'll live.

Look, guys, we get it. You don't like the coach, you think he won't get it done.

Everything is terrible, we'll never beat a good team. Life is awful.

It's not that we don't understand your point of view.

We just don't care. It gets old hearing it over and over.

There is plenty of time to cry into your beer after losses, why whine so much after a double digit road win?

no you dont get it, at all. i personally like Josh, i think he will win 2 or 3 games in the ncaa tournament. life is wonderful, especially mine. go back and look at post #12. moving on, everything is not terrible, as a matter of fact things are quite great from my point of view. again post #12. we will win some big games. we were right there against a top five team in louisville and should have won the game. it must get old hearing it over and over because you dont understand what you read and are selective on what you want to argue about. i posted last night that it was a nice win however, you and others choose to act like we dont have anything good to say. which clearly is a bunch of poop. what gets old is the idea that you and a few others are better fans. dont tell me how to be a fan dude, im a season ticket holder. i sit in my seat every home game and cheer positively and encourage the players while other punk fans say negetive crap about certain players, such as Joe. i would call myself a great fan since i have been going since before Keith Lee got here and sat through the piss poor coaching of tic price and johnny jones. i was one of 5000 fans going to those games.

The Tigers have lost 3 games to teams ranked (RANKED) 4-10-24 and early in the season at that, with a total record between them of 39-5.
We seem to be getting it together at the right time and finding a flow to our game. Come NCAA tourney time, we'll be fine.
If CJP can keep the focus and prevent the slight 2nd half lapses, there's no one left on our schedule that can make a game of it. A 5 or 6 seed at this point is very realistic, and if we're a little lucky maybe a 4.
So jump on the wagon early and party to the finish line. 02-13-banana

It could be worse.........we could be VOL fans 05-stirthepot

You just answered your own question. Too many long periods of lost focus to be competitive on the next level. There are over 100 programs where winning an average of 25 games and just making the NCAA each year is enough. Memphis just happens to be a program where more is expected.

where did you see anybody say that?

We just want to beat some good teams. That's all. When we will, Josh will get his due. My god, larry finch would still be coaching here if he got to play in this C-USA. He beat top 25 teams every year.

What gets old is people on the other side acting like we've beaten good teams, starting threads complaining about people complaining. Because that's what this thread started as, not complaining about the team, but complaining that people complain too much.

people want national recognition. we get that by beating top 25 teams, winning on national tv, and winning ncaa tournament games.

Under Josh, we rarely play national tv games (by which I mean ESPN, nobody watches CSS or CBSSN) and usually lose when we do. We haven't beaten a top 25 team. We haven't won an ncaa tourney game. There will be restlessness and discontent until we change the above. So accept it.

There are those that complain all the time because their minds are already made up. There are also people on this site that complain about the anyone who would post a critical comment even if constructive. The later are hypocrites and a worse bunch than what they call the 'complainers'. I personally feel the later are the bigger issue on this site.

There is nothing wrong (IMO) when someone have a concern even if we win. This is a message board after all.
