You have never met a Kentucky fan....or a Bama football fan, have you?

rebuttal

TOGC

We don't claim him either...

The user name TOGC no longer has access to the board, right?

However, who knows what alias he's currently using. Perhaps he's undercover as Filo Bedo.

Check out the Big East board...He is over there....thank goodness..

Yea, UAB is bad but neither team last night was that good. USM and UTEP should do pretty good.

we've been getting better and better with each game...with Tarik Black getting back healthy we should go on a bit of a roll.

memphis could lose 2 or 3 and still get in. if we lose 4 we will be bubble and might have to win the cusa tourney to get in the ncaa. these tigers have enough talent to go undefeated but are not playing to their potential and will likely drop a couple of games in conference if they dont get it together pretty soon. 2 or 3 conference losses is a strong possibility

I could be wrong, but I just don't think that's possible based on the numbers. I haven't looked in a couple of days, but with an RPI in the low 50's, I just don't see any way that our rating will be high enough for serious consideration with more than 2 losses, and we'd be in trouble with 2.

I just think that the numbers are against us with that many conference losses.

While there were a lot of unusual circumstances, if we could have won the Louisville game, our world would look different.

From MK Turk, James Green, and through today, USM's been tough to beat.

Even when this guy was there......

Yeah they can be beat. Memphis is probably the best team, but I don't necessarily think they are eons ahead of everyone else like in the past. But they're on top till (if) someone knocks 'em off.

Nobody I know thinks Memphisis going to roll through the conference.

To the OP, you have the right to your opinion and to post whatever you want. I respect that. However----

I for one would take you much more seriously if I knew what team you were for. I don't do the post count thing ( more post don't mean more credibility in my mind) , but it does strike me as you are "flaming " Tiger fans.

Anywho-----Memphis can be beat. All I have to say is lace'em up andl let's get after it. I like our chances to win the conference. And if we do, it will be hard earned with teams like USM and UTEP playing good basketball.

Don't forget Louisville fans (both BB and FB)... talk about obnoxious-arrogance..

I dunno Transitt.. i'm starting to wonder if he's really better than he gets credit for.. With the talent he gets/has, you'd think he'd knock off some "bigger boys" once in a while when he faces them.

RPIForecast.com does a pretty good job of predicting rpi based on different scenaios. They predict that Memphis will go 13-3 in conf. and will finish in the 38-40 range in the rpi.
I really enjoy keeping up with this site, especially once we get into the 2nd half of conf. play.

The projection shows Memphis losing to either Harvard or Xavier (likely Xavier since it is an away game for the Tigers) and three conference games. So. Miss, UTEP, and UCF are away games and with lower victory rates for the Tigers so I guess they are the projected defeats.
