Northern Illinois: Sources tell us North Dakota State tight ends/fullbacks and special teams coordinator Tim Polasek is headed to Northern Illinois to coach tight ends/fullbacks.

Coming in from a strong staff. Meaningless observation: seems like almost all Carey's hires also have had special teams responsibilities.
Bob Cole is all but certain to be OC. Question will be whether RC keeps playcalling.

just watched his video on the link above. looks like another young energetic coach who was also the recruiting coordinator at NDSU. seems to be a great hire. l like what Carey is doing w this staff!

From watching the video, looks like he wants RBs to take a big part in the offense. If that's the case, it should open the offense up for Lynch--something we could have used 1/1/13.

Tim is a beast on the recruiting trail, NDSU is gonna miss him and I am going to miss him, he was a great friend to me and I enjoyed all our chats over a brewski!
