Given our schedule next year these signs may be up and updated for a while.

Would perhaps help our attendance even more if we were DeKalb's team!

We're number two behind the Barbs.

That would cost money. NIU athletics doesn't have money...so I am told.

All the bilboards and advertisements for the OB were paid for by the NIU foundation and the Alum Association.

Would be a very positive and excellent way to advertise.

Pity the DD $750 000 cannot be used for the FB program.

What will it take to be #1 in DeKalb?
To increase attendance we need to be DeKalb's #1 team!

If it were not for Title IX I am sure it would be.

To increase attendance we need to be DeKalb's #1 team!

Start by offering DeKalb/Sycamore or DeKalb CO residence $10 off a regular season ticket.

Maybe if we took a block/group approach to selling season tickets to local outfits we might have more success.

How much does it cost to put a sign up stating so many miles from Huskie stadium , home of NIU FB.... # victories longest active streak in the nation?

Well that depends on if he has to be made and installed by a union employee. (Not trying to start anything political here)

It would take more resources for NIU atletics to seek out groups who are interested then actually buy a block of tickets rather than just offering a $10 discount to residents.

Its better not to exclude anyone living in the area.

With the games available on computer and the luxury of home, the group experience is why many fans go to watch
NIU FB. Agree any single fan should not be overlooked, but it is my opinion that we have entered a new era where people are more likely to attend games if their friends are going then alone.
Why not adjust marketing and sales to target companies, churches, local groups of all sorts that might wish to sit together during a game?

It is certainly worth a try. I'm still trying to figure out who we market to now.

Still would love to see traffic signs up promoting NIU's home record.
How much longer will we be #1 in the nation.
Wish AS would post signs around campus reminding students and faculty of that fact.

LOcal companies are the most logical choice. It is a tax right off and a way to reward employee performance.

There definitely needs to be more excitement and publicity on campus and in the town for the football program. I was in Dekalb/Sycamore the week before the Orange Bowl and you would be hard pressed to find any decent publicity. Oh sure, some of the retailers acknowledged it on their signs, but not all that many. Not many posters, either.

Maybe if we give the DeKalb Municipality a block of season tickets in exchange for advertising.
A tax free transaction.
Under the WElcome to DeKalb Board they write Home of NIU Huskie stadium ## victories. Longest winning streak in the nation.
They can also be responsible for placing and maintaining signs throughout DEKalb.
That must be worth at least a block of 20 season tickets.
