Don't think UCF will be able fly out, fog has set in badly again tonight. It a Purple haze over Greenville.

Just talked to my buddy in Greenville who was in attendance. Said there was about 5k and they were rocking the house in the last 5 minutes and during OT. He says that the crowd had UCF shook up in OT.

Yes the place came unglued. But, IMO it may have been a little more than 5K. But, the place was rocking.

To lose in OT after leading by 16pts. I would say so! 04-cheers

Minges could be ECU's best weapon a few years from now. I remember the Marquette coach having to pull a bench out on the floor to be able to communicate with his team during time outs back in the old CUSA days.
We have a great home floor if we can just start winning consistently. There is no doubt in my mind that we can put 8K in Minges every night if we can step our program up where we want it. I think we have the right guy at the helm and Greenville is begging for good basketball.

I love taking a game out of the lost column and putting in the win column....this game replaces the Charlotte game on my list which went the other way.

Not that it really matters but there is no way Fayetteville is 3 hours from Greenville. When I get on 95 at Benson I'm barely more than an hour from Greenville. Fayetteville to Benson on 95 couldn't be more than a 30 minute drive. So an hour and a half, hour and 45 minutes tops. Maybe they'll get a room on Bragg Blvd for the night. Now that would be something to write in a thread about.04-cheers

Cusa: ECU 1-1 and Ucf 1-1

Hope you enjoyed beat down as much as ECU Pirates:)

If you are talking out our current CUSA record, that one loss of ours was against Memphis who is also going to the Big East. So our future Big East record would be 1-1.

Fayetteville is 1:45- 2:00 from Greenville. Make the drive 15-20 times a year. Also all 4 lane 65-70 Mph from Greenville city limits to Fayetteville city limits. Couldn't ask for an easier drive.

You guys can make monster runs when the 3s are falling. Grats on the win. I'm sure it will be rocking there when Memphis visits.

Maybe a 2 hour bus ride is too much for the dainty UCF team?!?! Maybe that explains why they can never beat USF!!
