I envy a program where the local media sticks up for it with such vigor.

Well done 04-bow

RE: Bob Valvano
Bob does a great job. He used to coach Bellarmine. He and his wife of many years recently divorced. She lives not far from me here in Southern Indiana. Bob owns a business here in Louisville called Gotcha Bocce. Even though Bob is a New York guy, he loves Louisville. One of countless people that moves here for a job, changes jobs and never leaves. Bob does color commentary for Louisville men's basketball. Hard for him to be impartial sometimes when he has to do a Louisville game for The Big East network since is such an obvious Louisville homer. I think most people over look it because he has such a deep knowledge of the game. I learn something about the game every time I listen to him. For the record Bob has always chastised ESPN for their treatment of The Big East. This is not a new thing for him.
