I don't even see them anymore. Ineffective advertising in that the ads are so prevalent, I mentally block them out.

As far your specific ad, it is all based on your location, I imagine.

RE: Come on MAN!
Has been up there for 3 days. I have actually cut back my visits to this site b/c I don't like looking at them.

Adding Academy to my avoid list along with Ford and others.

If you are going to boycott any business in Alabama that targets Alabama fans, you are not going to be buying much.

It's smart business to try to rip the suckers off with cheap TShirts.

& stupid ridiculous foam ring hats.

I have been trying to search for them & haven't been able to find a picture online yet.

I only saw one young gump with one, but I assume they are selling them in some store.

Isn't a foam ring something you have when you have hemorrhoids? Only Bama fans would wear them on their heads.

Goes nicely with their toilet paper decorations.

That isn't exactly what I said. I am choosing to avoid (not necessarily an absolute boycott) Academy b/c I am annoyed with them for displaying their stupid banners on our UAB board (wether they are directly responsible or not, I don't care). I choose to avoid Ford b/c their little nicky commercials turn my stomach.

Just having a sign that says "We love bammers" or carrying gumpgear or stuff like that isn't enough to run me off.

BTW - the obnoxious banners are finally gone from this site!!!

I don't really notice the ads unless someone mentions it.

long story short: I wanted to escape into anonymity. mbelcher987 was one of my first emails and contained my last name... Belcher...

Dracorex means Dragon King in Latin. Its full name is Dracorex Hogwartsia i.e. Dragon King of Hogwarts. Hogwartsia made it too long, I think. It is actually a wingless dinosaur but the name is cool.
