By that definition, any player in the country can "create their own shot".
Not many players are going to be able to make the shots they create when they are trying to create them against double and triple teams 7-15 feet from the basket. The Biggest problem I see with Adonis is that he doesn't move his feet much on defense. He has lost 2 steps on offense and he ball hogs to much. It seems that 85% of the time he has the ball he's looking to shoot regardless of the situation. 1 on 1, 2 on 1, 3 on 1 or 4 on 1.
He needs to drop about 15-20 lbs and shoot 1,000 jump shots a day to be the type of player he wants to be in an actual game. The Adonis from highschool would drive, dish, rebound etc... I don't know what happened but I'm incredibly disappointed in him so far. I'm sick of seeing that fade away bull**** and that hook shot that misses 95% of the time.
I can live with the somewhat contested and open threes.
I don't care if you average 20 points a game. It's very telling when your average is over 10 and you're only 39% from the floor and 20% from behind the line. PASS the ball Adonis. Not to mention his 2 turnover per game average doing completely insane crap.
If he changes his game into what he is supposed to be doing he would be much more successful and easily get drafted in the first round because the Tigers might actually make some noise.
The Tigers problems go much deeper then just him though. Geron stopped being vocal, Crawford isn't what we all thought he would be, Black isn't dominating the way he should be, Hall seems sloppy, I don't know how we ever got 1 report of Simpson dominating anything even practice.
Inorder for us to move on and become the team we should be players have got to start playing up to their potential atleast 80% of the time. We can have a couple players have an off night, but we can afford for 6-7 of them to have off seasons. We have got to keep the intensity level up, we can't get up 27 and allow 22-0 runs because of sloppyness and lack of "give a ****".
The day this team amps up the intensity and actually acts like it wants to win every game no matter the opponent we will be who everyone thought we were supposed to be. Until then no one knows what going to happen night in and night out.
For the record, yes im a little pissed lol.
