Pros: Did better than Groh did at helm as DC. Was well liked. Decent recruiter. Good guy.
Cons: Groh isn't a high bar. He coached secondary at GT. Did you watch our secondary in the last 4 years?

As for the secondary we will have our DC taking over that spot also.
I'm not upset about the loss of Hudson, the rumors about him and Coach Fisher not getting along.
He was supposed to get the DC job if and when Stoops left but since he was passed over for the job it seems these rumors may have some truth to it.
Also have you seen our LB's play???? Havent played up to their potential since Hudson arrived.

Ted Roof is the new DC at Georgia Tech, per NBC. Former Duke HC. Also part of national championship staff at Auburn in '10 as DC.

Also ran out of town on a rail in 2011 because of defensive collapse after defensive collapse.

Clemson's defense was considered horrible this year because we gave up 25 points a game. Roof's defense gave up 24 a game in '10, and 29 a game in '11 in the offensively challenged SEC.
