Heh, you signed up just for that. Is there really that little to do in Pike County?

On a somewhat related note, it was nice to establish our ownership of your new gym. It's much nicer than the old barn.

We had talent on our defense...until we hired Bolt. He was the start of a slide that we have not even made the slightest recovery from.

Bolt did a good job for Troy the first go around, but royally sucked once he got here and ISU. I dont think he and watson got along real well.

Assuming we lose (and I don't concede that), we'll console ourselves with actual women and homes without wheels.

It was Bolt's demands that caused the "demotion" of Woodrow Lowe to "special teams" from coaching linebackers and eventually ran him off. Lowe is now FBHC of Central of Phenix City HS and his latest top players never even looked at UAB. Do you suppose Lowe holds a grudge even now? If so, perhaps McGee could have a "peace pipe" session with him and see if the feelings might be improved.

Just because Bolt didnt have good success at UAB does not mean he wont at TROY.....Tony Franklin had great success at TROY but when he left for Auburn he was fired within that year. but left for Middle Tennessee, then LA Tech and now is at Cal. He has had Great success after getting fired from Auburn.

It might have not been a good fit for him at UAB with the other coaches and his health may have played a factor as well.
