I would welcome WVU, but I also like to watch Ollie flounder.

After all the crap their fans gave us last year I'm more than happy to see them flounder in the Big 12 for a while.

I could live with WVU, especially if we don't have to take UConn. Ollie is not bad if we could just duct tape his moth shut. He's a loyal Mountaineer (alumn) and as AD he has done good things for the school, except where perception is concerned.

Maybe if we could legally separate WVU from some of its hick fans, then they may be more acceptable.

If WVu gets invited into the ACC, think about how many kooks will be working for 'us' now (the dude, MVHeer, etc). They will be on other fans message boards posting and tweeting disinformation. How awesome will that be?

If ND were added, they would be the other great choice. But that is never going to happen

a) I'm still surprised folks are still following that fraud.

b) WVU has wanted in the ACC since it was founded, so this is not a new revelation. Also explains why both Pitt and Louisville in the ACC angers them to no end.

c) As much as I would have liked WVU in the ACC a few years back, now that the ACC is getting Pitt and Louisville, there's no need for WVU.

d) I kinda feel sorry for WVU because they remain one Texas "ego trip" from becoming a football independent.

The problem I can see is recruiting for WVU. It should not make big difference, yet.
But I think their recruit ground is PA and ACC area. These PA kids will not thrilled to play in OK and TX. I have my relatives in PA, they do not like Texas and even careless about college sports in west.
Unless they change the recruiting ground to focus more in Texas, it will hurt a little by little, and some day they will regret the move.

I'm for it. But then I wanted the ACC to bite the bullet and invite SU, Pitt, WVU, and Louisville back in September of 2011.

You know that whatever makes sense cannot be done in conference realignment.

I always knew the ACC wanted the academic prestige, but I always though WVU would make a good fit otherwise

I wished people would stop giving the DUDE so much attention. Our posts are one of the reasons why he continues to post his nonsense.

Simple: Make academics a non-joke ... reduce the douche factor of your fans.
