So can we give Pastner all the credit in the world for DJ's development?

I think DJ slept on his potential for a little while...I think he realizes now he needs to improve his ball handling as he stated when he was considering redshirting. But he could have been doing that for 3 off-seasons now.

If he can become a solid ball handler and a better shooter he has a shot...Probably not this year, but he has a shot to eventually make it.

Maybe not all, but he did hire his coaches........not sure if that changes now that Bowen's around.

Absolutely. My all time favorite hands down. I already miss him and he is not even gone yet. I am much older that DJ, but I sure could learn a lot from him.....desire, work ethic and just pure give it all you got every day. He is an inspiration. What a awesome young man.

I do agree that DJ will be one of the most beloved Tigers to ever play here...He's the best spot player (though he's a starter now and deserves it) ever here...No player here has ever made the most out of his ability than DJ...Incredibly, it is true about the NBA scouts...More than one has him on the radar and that comes from a scout himself

DJ and GJ are my favorite players. I could see in the previous years that DJ was a serious talent but his asthma held him back. Thank the Most High for his operation because he can now exert himself more than in previous years. The sky is the limit for these two players.

If he doesn't have an NBA future, he could probably go pro in Ruzzle. He crushed me yesterday.

amen, and like I've said before, I'd hire him in an instant if I could....he's gonna do what makes him and his family happy. I hope and pray that he has lots of good choices when decision time comes.

He has a future in basketball...I would not be surprised to see him as a Globetrotter ala Michael Wilson.

I bet he could dunk on a 11' 5" rim....

RE: DJ Stephens
DJ has hit threes since his sophomore year. People didn't notice.

As MissJ has said repeatedly, DJ has no desire to be a Globetrotter.

I'm hoping to see him in the league long enough to get the nice FAT NBA pension.......and then come back to join Josh Pastner's staff and become a leader of young men (which I believe is his true calling in life....a role model)
