MyBB Tarik
In our last game, I thought team doctors said Black could come off the bench if necessary.. that he was available in a 'worse-case-scenario'. I figured if his injury was healed enough then to potentially come in in case of an emergency he'd be solid for Friday's game, as oposed to 'doubtful'.

Any update? Are we still hearing he is unlikely to play Friday in what is the biggest remaining game of the year?

RE: Tarik
Last I heard was that he practiced just a little yesterday but was still doubtful for tomorrow. They said the kind of pull he has really needs to heal completely or you risk being out for an extended time for it to heal. I'm guessing he will play if the docs say its ok.

Thanks Miss J. My fingers are crossed. I want Shaq, Tarik, and DJ to torture Stokes.

Hall and Simpson are great guys, but I fear Stokes would be able to push those two around more than he can the aforementioned. (he may be able to move DJ, but DJ can jump over a house and come swat his **** out of there)

In the second game he did. ... in the first.. the Maui game, UT's big at the time had a HUGE double double and could not be stopped in the paint.

I really wanted Tarik for this game, we need a low post scoring threat against a half court grind it out defense like UT. When you get it into Tarik deep, its an automatic 2.

... good point. B/c they were in the same season I just lumped them in the same year. Oversight, my bad.

.... let me guess, you are referring to 'tendonitis'? I would assume this is a much different situation.

A lot of players have tendonitis. Some play through it. Others use it to transfer to another school.

I'm not referring to tendonitis, although that one has been used.

Saloogie, can you help me out with the specifics on the times Pastner spoke untruthfully about a player's situation?

I'm too lazy to look them all up, but there's at least 5 or 6 easy ones.
