Bowen is not going to say anything in the middle of things, and if it regards the BE, that would come from Aresco. We won't hear from Bowen unless Memphis finalizes a deal elsewhere, which seems unlikely, for now.

He does need to keep in mind that maybe a interview here and there would be good while your fanbase is wondering!!! I am not saying he has to give away secrets or really say much but at least find a microphone and let people know you are working on something, I haven't heard him in weeks

What is sad is that this doesn't even seem possible ever!! Can you imagine this town if something like that ever happened here, hell the BE buzz was huge. Sad.

Let the man do his work behind the scenes. In the gotta have it now, paparrazzi world we live in, it's usually best to work outside of the public eye. I don't need to hear him speak to know he's doing what's best for the University.

He would say the same thing as any other AD would say about their school's current/future conference affiliation:
"We are committed to (or joining) the _________ Conference."

Translation:
"We are going unless something better comes along, and if it does, I'm not gong to tell you about it until the deal is signed."

tom bowen sends out email every month to TSF members in his big east 101 newsletter. if you're a donor and don't get it, call up tiger scholarship fund and ask them to add you to the list.

If there was any info that could be offered I am sure there would be a press release or press conference given by Bowen. If he were to give a presser and say nothing then the fan base will get even more stressed and invent even more unfounded scenarios than what is presently being tossed around. There needs to be a consensus of league stability before the powers that be can make a deal. That takes a good bit of talk among the remaining schools and their long term intentions. Aresco probably needs a five year commitment from the schools in order to make a good deal with one of the networks.
