RE: 2013 Crossover opponents?
Since it's 90% Football and 10% Basketball, I think the MAC should look to add other teams and get rid of the Hurons of EMU. Eastern Michigan does really well in all other sports in the MAC, just not the two most important ones. I don't see the Big East staying around much longer. I think D-1 will get down to nine (9) conferences. The non-aq of MWC, MAC, USA, and Sun-Belt.
I would love to have EMU out and add Marshall and Western Kentucky. Maybe Middle Tennessee State, but that would be the third choice or if we kept EMU to make it 16 team league. I loath having a 13 team league. But we can't drop EMU until we find a true replacement. I thought UMass would leave for the Big East in a few years, but I am not sure the BE will be around.

How about we just put in a request that EMU get an invite to the Big East with UMASS!

RE: 2013 Crossover opponents?
It would be great to see a total of Eight (8) conferences in division 1. Each Champion makes it to the playoffs and 4 wild card berths, obviously which would come out of the big five (5) conferences or Notre Dame. The smaller three (3) conferences should be MWC, Then the second conference would be the Midwest/Northeast schools and the third conferences would be the South adding some USA teams in there.
