Solid Season So Far!
With a win over North Florida tonight NKU improves to 3-7. Now that may not sound great but considering the circumstances of the season I am pretty happy. We started the year with some tough games especially for a first year D1 Program and have really started to play better entering conference play. Billups looks like a solid inside presence, Jones has been the player we expected, Snodgrass has proved to be a solid 3pt shooter and Chad Jackson and Stretch Watson are inconsistent but when they turn it on they are very good. If we keep playing the way we are maybe we can win 8-10 games this year! What do you guys think of NKU so far?

They are surprisingly quick, small but athletic and take advantage of opportunities. I was at North Florida game and saw them. They can beat anyone who doesn't take advantage of the size difference. They will out play teams. North Florida almost wore them out but the great equalizer (3 pointer) keep NK around and lead to there victory. The will be a competitor in the league. The coaching was great. When team was getting worn out coach used TO wisely and got team rested to survive the North Florida charge and won the game for NK.
