For those that remember the Northern Iowa teams of late, we became friends with the Koch family in Cedar Falls, and hosted them when Northern Iowa returned to Norfolk. Really solid folks.

Jake Koch just signed a contract to play in Bulgaria. He was the younger of the Koch brothers, and was a load in the paint (european-style).

Hopefully our BB team will allow future connections to be made with solid BB fans from around the country in meaniingful games. Last year was so weird for so many reasons.

Good for Koch. He has a solid future on the international basketball circuit.

I hope that the administration can use the field hockey connection to get us games against Big East teams. Specifically Creighton. Then Cr8n can befriend Creighton fans.

Coop is scheduled to leave for Lithuania next Wednesday. Not sure what team he's with.

DeMarco runs for a first down!

Saw Ricardo Marsh and his wife today around the neighborhood.

He is heading back to Turkey this evening for a tourney, and then the regular season. Mentioned that he and Frank Hassel had the same overseas agent.

Dude has been at it since graduating in 2003. That's one hell of a run, particularly with a young family that he does not see much in-season.

Best of luck to Ricardo and wishes for a monster season in Turkey!

ALSO: Rumor has it that marsharee neely is back in Africa (Tunisia) for another season.

Looks like DeMarco will get his first start in the CFL next Sunday!!!

Ricardo Marsh is playing for an Iraqi team for a tournament in Jordan. He is not playing in Iraq, nor has he been offered to do so.
He will either play for the Turkish team he was on the past few years or play in Europe....still waiting on options.
