Plisco would need to speed up his mechanics to have a realistic chance of making the pros. Great leg and all, but too slow getting the ball off.

Looks like Ronnie Cameron was released by the Eagles.

Ricardo Marsh's summer just became busy. Returned from Turkey on Friday and is now playing ball in Peurto Rico for the summer. Opportunity knocks.

He has made a nice career and extended it. Kudos for the work ethic and drive to support his family.

DeMarco, Deron Mayo and Eddie McClam are all currently playing in a CFL preseason game.

DeMarco and McClam (signed 2 weeks ago http://www.bclions.com/article/lions-add...o-trenches) for the BC Lions, Mayo for the Calgary Stampeders. Game is tied at 17 at the half. DeMarco is 5 for 9 with a TD, Mayo has a tackle, not sure if McClam has been on the field.

I was listening to the game. First play of the second half Thomas DeMarco was tackled by none other than... Deron Mayo.

I would have liked to see their interaction after that play. That is pretty cool.

Another bright note was the play of back-up Thomas DeMarco who demonstrated he has a command of the offence and make things happen in tight situations.

“I would have loved to pull that game out and pick up a win, but it’s also a learning experience. A year ago, I wasn’t getting that kind of time on the field so I have to be pleased with my progression and prepare each week like I’m going to be called on to help us win.”

A win is exactly what the Lions will be aiming for when they clash with the Stampeders on Friday in Calgary (TEAM 1040, TSN).
